This condition manifests itself during the early adoloscence and the core reason for increasing death toll. A major percent of the sufferers are women. The worst affected are those who inspire of becoming actors, models, sports person, dancers, and other such glamorous arenas of profession. Anorexia Nervosa is life threatening and the common symptoms for this condition are gross weight loss, insomnia, depression, lack of confidence and concentration, volatile nature, mood swings, intense fear of getting fat and heavy negligence of food and regular diet. The patient tends to take up all the wrong norms of dieting and fasting. The lack of nutrition leads to the person losing power of immunity and hence illness which might turn out to be incurable. It has been found that suicidal tendency in these patients are relatively very high.
